🛒 How to buy a wheelchair with NDIS funding
There are two main ways to purchase a wheelchair under the NDIS:
1. Self-Managed or Plan-Managed? You can buy direct
If you manage your own NDIS plan — or use a plan manager — you can purchase a wheelchair directly from a trusted supplier like Bettacare Mobility. You’ll receive a tax invoice, which you or your plan manager can submit to the NDIS portal.
2. NDIA-Managed?
If your plan is agency-managed, your wheelchair must be purchased from a registered NDIS provider.
