Terms & Conditions of Hire

•Items are charged on a weekly hire and it is the customers responsibility to arrange collection of equipment once they would like to cease hire.

•Hire fees will be charged regardless if item is being used or not. 
• Customer must return item in same condition as when hired.
• All invoices are to be paid one week ahead and hire is per week or part there of.
• Customer is responsible for the purchase of an item if it is lost or damaged.
• Bettacare is not responsible for any injuries occurred while using equipment.
• All Toilet equipment must be cleaned paying particular attention to underneath toilet frames, driver may refuse collection and you may be charged a purchase fee.
• If customer would like to purchase hire equipment they must pay hire fees in addition to purchase cost.
• By signing above customer is accepting terms & conditions of hire
• When an order is placed, customer is in a verbal agreement to adhere to these terms & conditions.
• If you have any queries regarding TAC please contact a staff member within 24 hours of placing the order
• In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, the customer will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs.
• Customer is entitled to one Delivery and one Pick up at no charge within 10km of Adelaide CBD any extra deliveries or pick ups will be charged accordingly

Warranty

  • Does not cover dents, scratches or blemishes which occur after purchase date
  • Does not cover consumable items subject to “wear & tear”
  • Does not cover user negligence, accident or improper installation
  • Does not cover unauthorised repairs or alterations

All items are approved for sale in Australia and meet safety standards. Bettacare is not responsible for misuse or alterations to a product.

  • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to feel confident shopping with Bettacare Mobility.
Please read the following carefully as mobility and healthcare products have specific hygiene and safety requirements. Special order or Order in items can not be returned.

Change of Mind Returns

We offer an exchange or store credit under the following conditions:

  • The item is returned within 7 days of delivery
  • The item is unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • The item is in brand new, resaleable condition
  • Proof of purchase is provided

This applies to items such as:

  • Moon boots
  • Braces
  • Cushions
  • Mobility accessories

Footwear & Braces:
For hygiene reasons, no returns or exchanges are accepted once packaging has been opened.

Delivery & collection fees will be charged and are not refunded for change of mind.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items (Australian Consumer Law)

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund if the product is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Not as described
  • Not fit for purpose

If this occurs, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement, repair or refund in line with your consumer rights.

Return Shipping

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • We recommend using a tracked service as we are not responsible for lost returns

Please choose carefully before placing an order. In the event of a cancellation due to change of mind refunds will be processed minus any non-refundable merchant fees charged by third-party payment providers such as Afterpay and merchant facilities. These fees are not reimbursed to us, and therefore will be deducted from the refund total. Alternatively, store credit may be offered at our discretion.
